When the umpire calls you out and you know for sure that you're safe, how do you respond? When you pitch it right over the plate, and all you get is "a little outside," how do you respond? When God brings things into your life that you don't understand, how do you respond? Since God is the reason we live, and knows everything we do before it happens, He knows how we're going to react. We never exactly know why God does the things he does, but, that's when faith comes into action. Faith is trusting in someone or something that you can't see or don't know is true. God expects us to respond in Godly ways. You've heard the phrase, "the umpires are human, and no human is perfect." Well this is true, so we have to realize that we can ask why they call what they call, but there is no need to say "COME ON BLUE! MY GRANDMA COULD'VE CALLED IT BETTER!" Because, your grandma is human also, and would have called it her way. We all would call things our way. We hire the umpires to interperet the games how they see it, not to tell us what we think. Life situations are the same way. When your friends don't treat you with respect, or when you don't think your parents are treating you fairly, We need to realize that God has reasons, and know's best for you. He says through David in Psalm 5:12, "For surely Lord, you bless the righteous and surround them with your favor as a shield." So, if we are righteous in our repsonses, God will shield us in all things.
