NOAH Jaguars win the 2016 Homeschool National Championship today in Auburndale, Florida.
NOAH beats Raleigh, NC 13-3. Great team effort! Nano Moss had 3 RBIs and Jimmie Koons, Keaton McDaniel and Will Grantham each had 2 RBIs. Matt Merrill pitched all 6 innings with 7 strikeouts, 3 walks and scattered 4 hits. Merrill improved to 5-1 on the season with 53 KsThe Jags finished the season with a 28-9 record.
The Jags knocked out the #1 seed Charlotte, NC (30-2) in the semi-finals 14-4. Josiah Lynn pitched a complete game picking up his 7th win on the season. Evan Jacoby and Nano Moss went 3 for 3 at the plate. Jimmie Koons went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and 6 RBIs. The Jags are leading the tournament in runs scored with 74 runs in 6 games. Jags record improves to 27-9.
The National Championship game will be broadcasted live on the internet at 11:30 am (central time).

The Jags jumped out to 5-0 lead thru 4 innings. Both teams traded runs in the 5th. Jags broke it open with 3 runs in the 6th and 5 runs in the 7th. StL scored 2 runs in bottom 6th and 7th. Senior Daniel O’Connor started on the mound pitched 5 strong innings for the win. Freshman Beej Moss pitched the last 2 innings. Will Grantham, Evan Jacoby and Jimmie Koons had 3 hits a piece. Matt Merrill had 2 hits. Braden Johnson, Josiah Lynn, Nano Moss, Keaton McDaniel and Ben Replogle each had hits. Big offensive performance!
Jags advance to Div 1 for the second year in a row!
#5 NOAH vs #4 Ft Worth THESA
Both teams are familiar with each other as NOAH traveled to Ft. Worth a couple of weeks again and won 2 games. Ft. Worth jumped out to an early 5-1 lead through 2 innings. The Jags stormed back and scored 4 runs on 5 hits. The Jags plated 2 more runs in the 4th to take a 7-5 lead. Ft Worth scored 1 to trim the lead to 7-6. Jags answered back by putting up 5 runs to take a 12-6 lead and held on to beat the Ft. Worth to advance to the National Semi-Finals for the first time in NOAH history. Jordy Blom started on the mound and was relieved by Evan Jacoby. Jacoby pitched the final 4 2/3 innings to pick up the win. The Jags improve to a 26-9 record for the season.

NOAH played St. Louis Patriots in a qualifying round. NOAH needs one win to advance to the Top 8. St. Louis needs to beat NOAH twice. St. Louis jumped out early with 3 runs in the first inning. They tacked on 2 more runs in the 3rd inning. NOAH scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning on 4 hits. St. Louis added 1 run in the 6th and 2 runs in the top of 7th. NOAH battled back in the bottom of the 7th scoring 3 runs on 1 hit and 4 errors. StL wins 8-5. The two teams will play again on Thursday.

Josiah Lynn pitched 6 innings of no-hit baseball until the Saints led off the 7th inning with a single. Jordy Blom came in got the remaining outs with 2 strikeouts. Ben Replogle went 3 for 4 with a triple. Will Grantham went 2 for 4.
North Virginia 4
Matt Merrill pitched 2 2/3 for the win. Dan Merrill came in relief for 1 1/3 innings.
Nano Moss went 2 for 2 with 4 runs scored. Keaton McDaniel and Dan O’Connor had 2 RBIs.
