One of John Wooden’s 12 Lessons of Leadership states that “Little things make BIG things happen.” Golf is not a big thing, but merely a little thing when we look around us at the world. We hope that you will partner with NOAH in the little things, whether fielding a foursome or sponsoring a hole, to help BIG things happen in the Basketball arena. We want our athletes to not only learn how to play the game better, through practice and competition but also to learn life skills that will launch them into bigger arenas. Those larger platforms can then provide them the opportunity to impact those around them for Christ and for all He has created them to be.
Options for Partnership:
Individual Player $125
Hole Sponsorship $100
Title Sponsor $1000

NOAH Basketball Family,
As most of you know with the decision of Coach Williams to lay down the whistle for awhile (for ministry and family focus), it has left us with a vacancy in Varsity Girls Coaching position with big shoes to fill. As with any decision, prayer is paramount, and this decision was no different. Prayers were for people to step forward and assume all responsibilities that are associated with the job, be a Godly example, have clear direction and vision for the program and experience to enable that to happen. The good news is God is good and we received multiple inquiry’s into the position. All of the inquiry’s were from solid candidates that would serve our girls and NOAH well. It is always exciting when God provides in His way with both the candidates and the new Coach.
The new Varsity Girls Head Coach will be Mr. Stephen Bell. I have attached a brief biography below:
Coach Bell started his coaching career in 1993 as a Student Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball Program at Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, AR. In 1996, he was hired on as full time Men’s Assistant Basketball Coach in addition to being named Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer Program, which he led for 4 seasons. Coach Bell spent a total of seven years (1993-2000) at Williams serving 6 years as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach and 1 year as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.
In 2000, Coach Bell made the transition from the collegiate level to the high school level. He was hired as Head Varsity Boy’s Basketball Coach at SBEC Christian School in Southaven, MS where he led the program for 5 years. He also served as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director from 2003-2005.
As his family began to grow in 2005, God moved Coach Bell away from education and coaching. However, three years later God’s plans allowed him to step back into his passion of coaching through his own children’s teams. Starting in 2008, he began coaching basketball in the greater Tulsa area through various Christian organizations where he had the opportunity to teach the skills of the game while ministering to many families along the way. Coach Bell has been serving as a coach with NOAH at the Elementary and Junior High level for the last 5 years.
When he is not coaching basketball, Coach Bell serves as a Senior Regional Director at Shire Pharmaceuticals where he has worked for the last 12 years. He and his wife, Lorie, live in Broken Arrow and have five children, 3 of which participate in NOAH basketball.
Please join me in welcoming him to this endeavor.
As we move through this transition, my request is that we handle it with prayer.
Some thoughts on specific prayer:
- for Coach Bell and his family as they make this adjustment
- the team as they focus on the future
- the decisions that have to be made pertaining to Coach Bell’s staff
- and ultimately that all Glory will be directed towards God as we represent Him on and off the court.
Thank you for your time, patience and prayer during this time. And as a reminder, summer practices begin at the first of May.
