The NOAH Jaguars beat the Salina Wildcats 11-3 to even their
season record at 4-4. Due to wet field conditions at
LaFortune Park, NOAH's first home game was played at Metro
Christian Academy Ballpark.
The Diamond Jags jumped out early in the bottom of the 1st
inning scoring 8 runs on 4 doubles by Jebediah Penrod, Joe
Sabatini, Justin Leekley and Andrew Smith. The Jags
finished with 12 hits on the day highlighted by Parker
McDaniel's two doubles and Justin Leekley's 3 RBIs.
Defensively the Jags looked sharp with only one throwing
error on the day. Junior Avery Penrod was the starting
pitcher giving up 2 runs through 5 innings. Andrew
Smith pitched the final two innings giving up 1 run.
Both pitchers combined for 7 Ks.

The JV Jaguars won their third game in a row with a win over
the Salina JV 11-2.
The Jags scored 3 runs early on several errors, walks and a
double by Logan Luttrell. Luttrell went 3 for 3 with a
single, double and triple. Zac Cox, Jonathan Dunbar
and Andrew Smith each had doubles with Josh Lay getting a
triple. Josh Lay pitched a fine game allowing only 5
singles and 2 runs through 4 innings.
