The NOAH Jaguars capture title with a 9-1 win  over Fairland Owls  in the championship game of the Warrior Hardball Classic in Ketchum, Oklahoma.

On a cool evening in Ketchum, the Jaguars took advantage of batting first scoring 6 runs on 3 hits, including a double by Parker McDaniel and 4 errors by the Owls.  Fairland threatened in the 2nd inning with bases loaded and one out.  The Owls scored on a bases-loaded walk but a strikeout and a nice play by shortstop Jebediah Penrod got the Jags out of a jam.  In the top of the 6th, John Tyree beat out an infield hit and then scored on Avery Penrod's triple.  Jeb Penrod followed with an RBI double.  Parker McDaniel had an "excuse me" infield hit.  The pitch was behind Parker and hit his bat to go fair.  The pitcher delayed throw to first allowed Jeb to score from 3rd base making the score 9-1.

Sam Brownwood pitched 3 strong innings to record his first win of the season.  Brownwood allowed only 2 hits.  Freshman Josh Lay made his first varsity pitching appearance kept the Owls hitless through the final 3 innings.  LF Andrew Smith made a diving catch for the first out in the bottom of the 6th inning.  Josh Lay enticed the next two batters to groundout to him for the final 2 outs of the game.  JAGS WIN!
