NOAH JV Jags win both games in a double
header against Lincoln
Christian School
1st game Jags 5, Bulldogs 0
Starting pitcher Jonathan Dunbar kept the Bulldogs scoreless
in the
1st 3 innings while the Jags scored one run in the 1st
inning and four
more in the 2nd inning. Jebediah Penrod closed out the game
pitching 2
innings. Each Jag pitcher only allowed 2 singles a piece.
Erik Willis
lead the hitting for the Jags going 2 for 3 with a triple.
2nd game Jags 11, Bulldogs 4
The Bulldogs jumped to a 3-0 lead in the 1st inning. The
Jags scored
one in the 1st and 2 in the 3rd to tie the game up.
Lincoln added a
run in the top of the 4th taking the lead, 4-3. In the
bottom of the
4th the Bulldog pitcher struggled issuing 3 straight walks.
The Jags
chalked up 8 runs in the 4th with a lot of help from the
Bulldogs
defense. Joe Sabatini was the starting pitcher for the
Jags. Brent
Loomis came in relief for the last 3 innings.
