NOAH Jaguars High School Baseball Wins
Their First Game of the Season
March 1, 2008
The
NOAH Jaguars homeschool baseball team opened their season
with an away game against Okmulgee High School today at
12:30. The Jaguars won the slugfest with the score of 18-10.
The
Jags had 17 hits, including a triple by Parker McDaniel,
doubles by Avery Penrod (2), Michael Newsome , Parker
McDaniel, and Austin Ervin.
Every NOAH player had at
least one hit and scored at least one run. RBI's for the
Jaguars included Avery Penrod (2), Michael Newsome (3),
Jebediah Penrod, Parker McDaniel (2), Andrew Smith (2),
Isaac Chambers, Austin Ervin, and Justin Leekley.
John Tyree picked up the win in relief
of starting pitcher, Sam Brownwood.
Okmulgee
started with Brent Dunlap who was relieved by Brian Dossey
and Dylan Beam. Brain Dossey got the loss. The highlight of
the Dogs offense was a 3-run homer over the left field fence
in the 2nd inning by Phillips Diggs.
The NOAH Jaguars head to Oklahoma City on Monday to play the
OKC Broncos.
